Personal Protection
Our personal protection team headed by Andrew Gibson is well respected within the industry and by our peers. Only a selected few make the grade into this team and are trained to a high standard by Andrew himself. GSL are the company of choice for Weta and Peter Jackson and WRU. Within this division we can also provide bodyguards, minders and advanced VIP drivers.

Event Management
Our team specialise in crowd control, concerts, outdoor events, parties, weddings, etc. We have managed various large scale events where upward of 100 guards have been deployed, e.g. Trentham races, Lord of the Rings and King Kong.

Static Guards
We are equipped to deploy static guards for any type of security required, be it a one-off or ongoing event. Our guards are trained to work autonomously and we have systems in place to ensure work quality is achieved.

Public Relations/Door Staff
A mainstay of GSL business for many years, we are able to provide experienced and professional door staff to compliment any front of house team and ensure the safety and welfare of your staff and patrons.

Barrier Control
GSL has one of the finest barrier control teams in Australasia. Only our best guards are selected for these roles. While seemingly simple, Barrier Control is really an involved and complex operation, and our system is one that many other companies have tried to replicate.

Mobile Patrol
GSL has two cars available to provide mobile services to our clients. Our drivers are experienced and have been supervisors within the field for other organisations. We differentiate from other companies as our only response clients are our patrol clients. Our clients are important to us so we restrict ourselves to working within our pool of clients only.

Remote Location Security
GSL is able to deploy guards anywhere in NZ for short or long term. GSL will manage all aspects of the requested security from any requirements or training for the guards through to transport and accommodation. GSL deployed guards to Stockton Mine in Westport where guards were required to complete a demanding 4 week training period including 4 wheel drive, First aid, bush craft and protest control.
Document and Repossessions Agents
Another division of special operations dealing with the serving of documents and repossession of goods.

Surveillance
By request only, GSL can provide covert or overt surveillance for specific jobs. This is a demanding role and requires special certification and a well planned mutually agreed outcome
